What this service is, and is not

brakepadfinder.com publishes a free brake pad finder and editorial pad reviews: a five-question matcher that runs in your browser, 26 rated compounds and four guides. Every rating is an editorial synthesis of manufacturer specifications and community consensus, offered as character guidance, not laboratory data. No contract for goods or services is concluded through this site, and nothing is sold here.
The operator is not a workshop, parts dealer, manufacturer or fitment authority. Brakes are safety-critical: confirm fitment in the manufacturer's catalog and follow its bed-in procedure. Nothing here is professional or safety-critical advice. Publishing these tools is not subject to any authorisation or licensing scheme, and no supervisory authority oversees it.
Retailer buttons marked "Partner link" lead to independent retailers that pay this site a commission or a per-click fee. They are labelled wherever they appear, sit after the free catalog link, and never alter a rating or the order of results. There is no newsletter, no account, no cookie and no tracking on this site.

Disputes and applicable law

Since no consumer contracts are concluded through this site, the EU rules attaching to online sales and service contracts do not apply to your use of it. The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025 under Regulation (EU) 2024/3228 and is deliberately not linked anywhere on this site.
Use of this site is governed by the terms of use. The operator is established in the Republic of Lithuania and this notice is provided under Lithuanian law implementing Directive 2000/31/EC.
Data protection questions and rights are handled as described in the privacy policy, which names the controller by reference to this page and your right to complain to the Lithuanian supervisory authority.
